When you are looking for a used motorhome for sale or a used bus for sale, there are several other things you need to know if this is your first purchase of this type of vehicle.

• First, if you have never driven a motorhome or bus, you should consider taking a course for driving a recreational vehicle.  These vehicles are quite a bit larger than a car and after taking a driving course, you will feel more at ease behind the wheel.  There may be someone in your area that offers this or these are two places that do offer this service.  Precision Driving Training Center and Colorado Protective Services.
•  You will need to find an insurance company to insure your vehicle.  Your current insurance company that insures your car probably won't insure your motorhome or bus.  There are very few companies that provide that type of insurance.   These are two companies that I am aware of that insure recreational vehicles.   Miller Insurance Agency will give you a free quote. • A good organization to join is Family Motor Coach.  They have several services that you will find helpful.  One of them is a mail forwarding service so you can get mail from family and friends.  They also have a message service is you don't have a cell phone but I would highly recommend that you get a cell phone.  They also publish a great magazine about full time RVing.
• There are several camping organizations.  You'll want to be come a member of at least a few of them.  That way you will get discounted rates at different campgrounds and if you are a full time RVer, those rates can get expensive!  Here are a couple of the nationwide ones - Thousand Trails, Coast to Coast, KOA, and Good Sam Club.
